Baylink Olympics - 20th and 21st June

Sandown Bay Academy we are holding ‘The Baylink Olympics,’ on 20th and 21st June. This is one of the largest student-led events in the Country.

The Baylink Olympics is a 2 day event for over 1000 students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 from our local primary schools. It is run by students and staff from Sandown Bay Academy. 

The Baylink Olympics will begin with a fantastic opening ceremony on each day at 9.30am down on the athletics track. There will also be a closing ceremony on each day at 4pm where medals will be awarded. 

Primary school students will compete in sports including Athletics, Cycling, Netball, Basketball, Tag Rugby and Kwik Cricket. There is an Olympic Village will entertainment and a sports club roadshow. 

Year 5/6 Competition day: Tuesday 20th June

Year 3/4 Competition day: Wednesday 21st June

Parents are invited to come along and support.
