Baylink Olympics - 23rd and 24th June

The Baylink Olympics is taking place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June. 

10 Primary Schools (1200 students) are coming to Sandown Bay Academy for two days; they will spend a day competing in sports competitions and the other day taking part in a carousel of cross-curricular learning. 

Each day runs from 9.15am - 4.00pm 


Programme:
Tuesday 23rd June: Year 5 & 6 Competition day


Wednesday 24th June: Year 3 & 4 Competition day


What happens on the other day? A day of cross-curricular learning in Technology, Languages, Performing Arts and PE.  Plus Sports Club Roadshow, Sports Zone, and International Café.

We would love you to come along and support.

· Take in a celebration of the Olympic spirit in a vibrant opening ceremony

· Soak in the atmosphere of excitement and high quality competition

· Come for the day—bring a picnic/ visit the café and enjoy the day!

· Refreshments for sale in our international café. Prices range from 30p to £1.80.

· Simply sign in at the main school reception or track entrance. You will be
 given a wrist band.
