Challenge and Achievement Day - Tuesday 11th July

posted 6 Jul 2017, 02:39 by Karen Bricknell
Sometimes in school we need longer ‘chunks’ of time to teach learners skills or to focus on particular areas of their learning.  During each year, on carefully selected days, we will ‘re-shape’ the regular timetable and re-direct all students and staff onto year-based activities. These are known as Challenge and Achievement days.

The next Challenge and Achievement Day is taking place on Tuesday 11th July

Year 7
- Inter-tutor rounders tournament (students to wear their PE kit to school)
Year 8 - Despicable Me3, Laserquest and Superbowl (smart casual clothing - no heels or flip flops)
Year 9 - Workshops - IRIS presentation and PSHE along with rotation of activities (smart casual and for some bring PE kit depending on activity)
Year 10 - Students are participating in health day. They will take part in Head On, a hard-hitting demonstration run by the fire brigade around road safety, a workshop delivered by IRIS and an interactive tutor session around mental health. Students will need to be in full school uniform and have their normal equipment with them for the day. Students also need to have their graduation information with them to complete an interim review.
