posted 12 Jan 2018, 03:53 by Katrina Heather
We have been asked by the local healthwatch to pass the following information onto parents within the community;

Healthwatch Isle of Wight is an independent local consumer champion and signposting service. It works with decision makers and service providers to help improve health and social care services on the Island.
Healthwatch Isle of Wight has been commissioned by the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group to engage with local people to find out their needs around primary health care and to ensure that people can access the primary care services they need, when they need them.

From 30th September 2017, as part of a government pilot scheme, there will be a range of routine (pre-booked) appointments for GPs, Practice Nurses and other health care workers, outside of your GP surgery's normal opening hours and some of these may offered at other GP surgeries. Initially this would be for a limited range of consultations and appointments as GP practices look at what their patients need.

This survey contains 31 questions in 5 sections and will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Each section gives you the opportunity to expand on your answers and give further feedback if you would like to comment further.
