Dear Parent/Guardian,

Re: Paris Trip 2018

We are overjoyed with the response we have had regarding the Paris trip scheduled for Summer 2018, however due to this, the trip has become over subscribed.

The trip has a clear educational benefit to History, Food and Cookery and MFL as well as sponsoring British Values of responsibility, law (through school rules), respect for others and respect of another culture. It will allow students to build interpersonal skills including leadership, team work, trust and respect.

Having met with Mr Richard Kelly (Headteacher) yesterday he has agreed that we will be able to offer two trips to Paris next year. The dates will be as follows:

Years 9 and 10

26th May-31st May

Years 11/12 and 13

7th-12th July

These dates have been provisionally booked with the travel company so that our spaces are not allocated to another school.  This will allow another 45 students to take part in the trip. Those that have already paid deposits will be guaranteed a space on the relevant trip, however if those in years 9 and 10 are not able to make the new dates their deposits will be refunded.  The cost of the trip remains unchanged at £765 for both the May and July dates.

Kind Regards

Hannah Olive
