Bus passes

We have been informed today by Isle of Wight Council that unfortunately Term Tickets for students accessing contracted bus services will not arrive in time for the start of the academic year.

In the meantime students (Yrs 7 to 11) who are eligible for free transport can access the contracted bus services without a ticket and the Isle of Wight Council will email student lists for each bus service later today. Temporary term tickets are not required for students accessing the contracted bus services during this short period.

For students accessing public bus services or who are in 6th Form, tickets have already  been sent to the home address if they applied before 22ndAugust. A list of these students will also be supplied. If a ticket has not arrived for any reason or they were late in applying a temporary ticket will be issued.

The transport team are urgently working to resolve this issue and term tickets should be in place by the end of this week.
