Year 11 Brown Envelope Day

Year 11 students opened their mock exams this morning as part of Brown Envelope Day.  Brown Envelope day has been designed to be a watershed moment.  It gives all pupils the opportunity to have a “mock run” of the results day they will have in August and provides as accurate a picture as possible of the grades the pupils would have received if the clock had stopped and courses had been completed just before Christmas.

The experience of Brown Envelope Day, has proven over the years to be a real positive motivator for our pupils to re-double their efforts and take every opportunity the school provides, such as revision clubs and Easter School to achieve the grades they want and are expected to make when they sit their ‘real’ exams in May and June.
