Over 280 Year 5 and 6 students have been experiencing taster sessions into life at Sandown Bay Academy this week; they have taken part in Performing Arts workshops, Art workshops, Languages workshops and a Sports Talent Camp. The teachers taking the sessions are very excited at the future intake of Sandown Bay Academy.

39 Year 7 students had a brilliant day at Southampton University this week. They had a tour of the campus and spoke to student ambassadors about their university courses. They had to present to the group the things they liked about university and what they didn’t like; there were some fantastic and creative suggestions.

Next week is a very busy week with in and out of the academy with Yellow House Walk, Global Rock Premier Final and a school production.

Enjoy your weekend.
