I was delighted to attend the Year 11 Presentation Evening on Wednesday. It was lovely to see so many of our Year 11 students recognised for their many achievements and for the hard work they have put in during their time at SBA. I wish them the best of luck for their exams, with the major exams starting on Monday.

Congratulations to our phenomenal Global Rock team who came third in the Global Rock Southern Premier final last Saturday. They also received 7 awards for Performance Skills, Sound Track, Entertainment, Stage Use, Choreography, Concept and Video Performance.

I am so proud of all of the students involved and for all of the hard work, commitment  and dedication they have put in this year. The students were exemplary on Saturday and supported not only each other but the other schools competing.

Well done to the U13 cricket team who beat The Free School by 48 runs.

A massive well done to the U13 girls cricket team, who, in a nail biting match beat Medina College by 2 runs off the last ball! It really couldn't get any closer than that! The Sandown Spirit really shone through. Well done girls.

The U15 boys cricket team beat Christ the King by 3 runs in a tense game on Tuesday.

Students in Year 8 and 9 spent Thursday afternoon at UKSA taking part in the ‘Go Sail’ programme. They had a great afternoon in and out of the water and all gave it their all.

Enjoy your weekend
