Principal's Blog - Friday 15th January

Thank you to all of the Year 9 parents and carers who came along to Parent Consultations and the Options Information Event on Wednesday. Feedback was very positive, with 98% of parents saying that they got appointment slots that were at a convenient time for them. 100% of parents surveyed said they found staff and teachers welcoming, professional and helpful and 90% said the booking system allowed them to book appointments with all or the majority of teachers they wanted to see. The options information has been added to our website (click here). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries about the options process.

It has been good to see so many students making the most of the Spring Term extra-curricular activities, I would encourage all students to try something new this term (click here to view the schedule).

There is a separate schedule on our website for Year 11 revision and study support sessions (click here), please encourage Year 11 students to attend as many as possible in the crucial months running up to their final GCSE exams.

Congratulations to Red House for winning the boys Interhouse Rugby on Thursday and to Yellow and Red House who drew the girls competition. Well done for braving the bitter cold!

Well done to the U13 girls' football team who continued their quest for football glory with a confident 7-1 win over Carisbrooke College on Tuesday. The girls are now one win away from securing the league title.

Enjoy your weekend.
