We said a fond farewell to our Year 11 students today in their final leavers assembly. It has been wonderful to see them grow and develop throughout their time at the Academy and we wish them the very best for their final exams and their plans for September, whether those be here in the sixth form or further afield.

Congratulations to the SBA athletics team who came second overall in the Island Athletic championships this week.

On Tuesday and Wednesday next week we are holding The Baylink Olympics, it is set to be a spectacular 2 days of sports and cross curricular activities and it looks like the sun will be shining. Almost 200 of our students will be running the event which will involve over 1000 local primary school children.

AET are seeking views from students, parents, governors, staff and the local community about the proposed amalgamation between Ryde and Sandown Bay Academies.
