We are waiting to hear from AET on the date of the consultation proposal being ready, as soon as we hear we will make every effort to let you know and share with you how to can put your views across. While we await more information about the proposal is is business as usual at SBA, staff have been doing a brilliant job in difficult circumstances and I would like to thank them.

Year 11 and Sixth Form students have made an excellent start to their exams this week. I have been impressed with their positive and mature attitudes.

We have had another successful sporting week, the U13 boys cricket team sailed into the next round of the Hampshire cup with a victory over The Island Free School by just 2 runs, they also beat Medina in the Island league this week. The U15 girls and the U15 boys cricket teams both beat Cowes in the Island League. This means that all of our boys and girls teams from every age group are unbeaten this year in the cricket season.

We were pleased to welcome in the Youth Trust this week to do an assembly to Year 10 students about mental health.

Enjoy your weekend

Claire Charlemagne
