Congratulations to the Sixth Form dancers who won the trophy for best contemporary dance at the Isle of Wight Drama and Dance Festival; they are champions for the second year in a row.

It was great to meet so many Year 6 students and parents on Wednesday evening. We look forward to meeting you lots more over the next few months to ensure the transition to SBA is as smooth as possible.

The U15 girls' football team narrowly missed out on reaching the Hampshire Cup final on Monday after a narrow 1-0 defeat in the semi-final.

Year 10 and Year 13 sports leaders ran a fantastic netball tournament for local primary school students on Tuesday; their organisation and leadership skills were exceptional.

Good luck to the SBA students competing in the National Rowing Championships today, I am sure they will carry on the great SBA tradition and bring home some medals.

I wish all students and staff on the ski trip a safe journey home. I hear they have had an outstanding week with all students really pushing themselves   on the slopes. I look forward to hearing all about it when they return to school on Monday.
